Chinese molybdenum prices were in the upward trend in the week began on Monday July 15, 2019 on active steel tenders for ferro molybdenum and increased market inquiry.
Molybdenum concentrate market was in oversupply due to environmental protection inspection, mining enterprises stopping production to undergo repair and heavy rains. So most sellers kept firm offer levels and also had good expects for the outlook. Most ferro molybdenum manufacturers were reluctant to sell, boosting the rise in product prices. Molybdenum chemical and product markets remained stable on deadlocked supply and demand.
