The Chinese molybdenum price was stable at the beginning of the week when the market trading remained cautious and the outlook kept uncertain. For molybdenum concentrate market, the supply is expected to be in short and sellers were reluctant to sell, but downstream also was cautious of trading.
In the ferro molybdenum market, traders are waiting for prices and quantity of steel tenders, so the market stabilized offer levels considering the gap between costs of raw materials and terminal demand. Spot trading was weak in the molybdenum chemical and product markets. Some enterprises even competed with each other in prices.
