In the second half of May, more and more steel mills gradually issue buy tenders for ferro molybdenum and high production costs supports rised mentality of traders, so molybdenum prices in China stabilize on the whole.
Molybdenum concentrate sellers are reluctant to sell their products at low prices on tightening availability of raw materials while downstream buyers also are cautious to inquiry. Ferro molybdenum market now is focus on steel biddings with relatively good sentiment. But for molybdenum chemical and product market, the imbalanced relationship between supply and demand and unstable environment reduce trading activity.
