Molybdenum market quotation in China: prices of molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide declined slightly while molybdenum powder price remained unchanged in the week ended at Thursday April 4.
Due to the continued tight supply, molybdenum concentrate market got supported and traders have good expectations for the outlook. But low trading activity in the spot market made most market participants cautious, especially after the reform of added-value tax. Smelting factories now focus on the steel tenders. Under the unclear outlook of the market, dealers would take a watchful stance and some of them may adjust their offer levels downward.
