China molybdenum prices show good momentum as market sentiment in the molybdenum concentrate and ferro molybdenum markets is boosted by eased relationship between supply and demand.
Firstly, miners resumed working slowly; secondly, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group, the representative of molybdenum industry, stopped production for rectifying and reforming; thirdly, steel mills were active in tender of ferro molybdenum; finally, international molybdenum prices rose slightly.
Market trading is limited by the Lantern Festival and weak terminal demand, but downstream’ activity in inquiry increases. Considering firm raw material market, molybdenum market would stabilize on the whole.
