Chinese molybdenum prices started to rebound on Wednesday January 23 because the profit margin of ferromolybdenum plants was severely squeezed by steel mills. Besides, manufacturers have strong rised mentality and raised their offer levels.
In the molybdenum concentrate market, inquiry became active and factories stopped production to undergo repair benefited the supply side. Considering continued weak demand, actual transactions were hardly concluded at present, market participants mainly focus on prices and quantity of steel tender.
