Molybdenum market quotation in China: prices of ferro molybdenum, sodium molybdate and ammonium molybdate declined sharply on Thursday January 7 while molybdenum powder and molybdenum oxide prices remained stable.
The prices of ferromolybdenum in steel mills continued to fall, which were lower than market expectations. Manufacturers had to transfer their pressure to the cost side. The continued weakness in the demand also raised negative sentiment of traders. Dealers’ offer levels now are in chaos and molybdenum market prices are expected to be in the downward trend.
