Molybdenum concentrate price declined slightly while molybdenum powder and molybdenum oxide prices remained stable in the Chinese market. Facing pressure of capital shortage, enterprises tend to be cautious on trading before the holiday of New Year's Day. Market participants now wait and see the new guide prices from the market.
The production in mines and smelting factories is limited as usual, although Chinese environmental protection team ended works in some provinces. However, the market cannot benefit from the tight supply and with the poor performance in steel tenders, insiders are worried.
