The latest prices of ferro molybdenum, molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide decline slightly compared with last trading day, affected by poor performance in steel biddings and weaker sentiment in raw material side.
Although sellers have willing to sell with profits, terminal customers are reluctant to purchase. For downstream chemical and product enterprises, supported by high production costs and tight supply, their offers still keep at a relatively high level. At present, the deadlocked supply and demand would cause uncertainty in the market.
It was reported that Nanjing Iron and Steel issued buy tender for 300 tons of ferro molybdenum at RMB 136,400 per ton, up RMB 7,000 per ton compared with October.
