The latest prices of ammonium molybdate, ammonium heptamolvbdate and molybdenum bar are unchanged from the previous trading day in the week to Tuesday October 23. Under the stricter environmental protection inspection, high raw material prices and tight supply, insiders have good mentality and sellers have strong rised mentality. Some traders even cut profits for more sales in some regions. At present, market participants focus on steel biddings.
ZPSS was reported to purchase 120 tons of ferro molybdenum last week at RMB 135,000 per ton, up RMB 2,100 per ton; China Minmetals Group issued tenders for 20 tons of ferro molybdenum in October at RMB 139,000 per ton.
