In China, market inquiry is quiet and trading is thin. Sellers keep firm offers that hover around prices of large mines. Ferro molybdenum and molybdenum chemical and product markets are in a stalemate.
Shandong Shouguang Juneng Special Steel and Hengyang Valin Steel Tube issued buy tender for 20mt and 30mt of ferromoly at RMB 129,000/t and RMB 129,000/t, respectively; Sgis Songshan and Nanjing Iron & Steel Group sought for 55m and 330mt of ferromoly at RMB 132,880/t and RMB 129,400/t, respectively.
