Chinese molybdenum prices show signs of decline. ammonium molybdate price stabilizes at RMB 138,000.00/ton, ammonium heptamolvbdate price drops from RMB 139,000.00/ton to RMB 138,000.00/ton and molybdenum powder price declines to RMB 265.00/kg from RMB 267.00/kg.
The tightening availability of molybdenum raw materials boosts sellers’ confidence while trading volumes need to be followed up. At present, quiet trading activity in steel biddings and downstream factories’ low enthusiasm in stocking up make market prices retreat.
