Earlier in this week, the latest price of molybdenum powder and sodium molybdate remains unchanged while molybdenum oxide price declines. Molybdenum prices rising sharply in China in off-peak season increases trading risks, plus lower prices of steel biddings, manufacturers have not enough confidence in supporting ferromolybdenum prices.
Supported by environment protection policy, miners take more advantages in production costs and the supply side, molybdenum concentrate prices stabilize. The main weakness in Chinese market is the thin trading volumes at present.
