Chinese molybdenum prices show good momentum earlier this week, affected by reducing spot goods due to stop production to undergo repair in molybdenum mines. At present, sellers have strong rised mentality and raise offer levels, although transaction prices are pressed by the demand side.
Under the off season, downstream factories’ consumption for molybdenum raw materials is weak and trading volumes do not increase. Market participants appear reluctant to trade in a weakening market. This week, market prices will stabilize.
