The price and quantity in steel biddings both increase this week, raising manufacturers’ rised mentality. And the continuous tightening availability of molybdenum raw materials makes sellers reluctant to sell. Therefore, molybdenum price in China rises slightly.
China’s ZPSS calls for bids on 180 tons of ferro molybdenum with cast price of RMB 107,800/t, up RMB 3,000/t compared with last week; Shagang Group plans to call for bids on 90 tons of ferro molybdenum in May, with price of RMB 110,000/t acceptable; Jinagxi Yonggang Group plans to tender 60 tons in price of RMB 109,000/t acceptable.
