Molybdenum market in China would start to enter a steady stage when the Chinese Spring Festival is near. Stocking of processing enterprises will soon be finished and making an inventory at the year-end is carried out. Therefore, new increased lot orders would be rare.
Under the balance of supply and demand, spot molybdenum concentrate is relatively short while ferro molybdenums are adequate. Supply and demand in downstream chemical and products keeps stable. But it is still hard to tell whether the terminal demand would remain strong, so the market price around the Chinese Spring Festival is unlikely to show sharp rise and fall.
