The tight supply of molybdenum concentrate is difficult to be changed in the short term and under the quantity of steel biddings, the rise in price is expected to slow down. For the ferromolybdenum market, as ferromolybdenum manufacturers are expected to cut production by 30 percent, market supply and demand will reduce. And under the high production costs, the price this week will continue to rise.
The quotation from downstream enterprises also would be raised on condition that the terminal demand can follow up accordingly. Actual trading of molybdenum alloy enterprises is likely to decrease, but transaction prices may be an upward trend, considering the relatively weak terminal demand. With the increasing production costs, molybdenum powder price will rise as well.
