Continuous Declining of Chile Minerals Exporting

Reported by Chile Central Bank, until May, its minerals exporting volume has showing the continuous eleventh month declining. In May, minerals exporting volume is USD 2.49billion, 7.4% down compared to May, 2015, but 3.1% up with Apr. 2015, whose quantity is 2.42billion dollars.
With an amount quantity data, the first five month, Chile exports USD12.4billion minerals, 12.7% decline compared with the same period in 2015.Among minerals exporting, copper has accounted for largest volume, 2.27billion, with 9.7% going down compared to May, 2015, but 5.0% increase compared with Apr. 2016.
Going back to period from Jan. to Mar, minerals exporting volume ranks second, only belong base metals and products, but with a large amount decrease of 25.8%. Molybdenum is one of main minerals for Chile. With the decreasing trend of minerals, Moly ore may be going through the same trend. Chile Spence molybdenum copper ore has been one of ten largest moly ores in the world.
Chile has been a large molybdenum resource country, whose reserves rank the third all around the world. China has also reserves a lot.
