Tendency of molybdenum price 

In China, rare earth domestic market still depressed. And in this article I will more emphasize on cobalt, magnesium, antimony and molybdenum concentrate market quotation. Cobalt quote price is going up with small range. 

The quoted price of it is 206,000.00RMB/ton and average price is 211,666.00 RMB/ton comparing with last week the quoted price was fall down 0.24%. Magnesium ingot quoted price has fall down with small range and on 18th December the quoted price maintain at 11,800.00~12,400.00 RMB/ton. Antimony ingot quoted price is at about 33,000~34,000 RMB/ton.

Market quotation analysis

The average market price of mainly molybdenum series product: molybdenum concentrate (content: ≥45%): 770.00 RMB/ton; ferro molybdenum: 57,000.00 RMB/ton, sodium molybdate: 46,000.00 RMB/ton; molybdenum oxide (content: ≥51%): 840.00 RMB/ton; molybdenum bar (content: ≥99.95%): 187.50 RMB/kg; molybdenum powder: 150.00 RMB/kg; ammonium tetramolybdate (first class): 61,000.00 RMB/ton; ammonium heptamolybdate (first class): 70,000.00 RMB/ton.

There will more specific introduce cobalt market quotation.After purchasing and storage, in China the market of electrolytic cobalt trades lightly and traded price has little fall down. The cobalt price of oversea was continued to fall down but on Wednesday the price of it is go up. It is said that before Christmas stock order has some degree increase, but after Christmas there are little vacation so the price will whether go up or not still need to observe. On one hand, influenced by price rising many China manufactures have more confident of cobalt market. On the other hand, the Federal Reserve interest rates increase and RMB undervaluation also lead to import advantage of electrolytic cobalt weaken. However, in the end of year, in China purchasing more according to market demand, manufactures also have little willing for stock purchasing and many oversea countries is celebrating Christmas vacation so there are little transaction and some exports predicted that the cobalt market is basically flat.
