Offering prices in the European molybdenum oxide 57%min powder market decreased by almost USD1.00lb last week as producers and other European stockholders battled to secure sales in the thinly traded spot market.
Sources comes on Friday explained that the concerns over the summer slow season had prompted far more aggressive sales tactics during week, and confirmed consumer business had been booked at lows of USD13.70-13.80lb d.d.p on Wednesday and offers dropped to lows of USD13.50lb in warehouse Rotterdam.
