Manufacturing process of molybdenum wire:

Molybdenum wire is made from molybdenum bar by heating and several times of drawings.

 

Molybdenum wire applications:

Molybdenum wire applications have such characteristics as practicability. There are several types of molybdenum wire. The pure molybdenum wire is often used as wire wrapped core wire, bracket, heating element, and molybdenum foil strip. Molybdenum wire also is used in wire cutting machine tools and is applied to manufacture the electric lighting materials, like mandrel, heating wire, etc.

 

Properties of molybdenum wire:

Molybdenum wire is featured by high tensile strength, good discharge property, smooth surface, high cutting speed, long service life and low wire tightening frequency.

 

Molybdenum wire is made of high quality molybdenum material by adopting advanced hot and cold drawing crafts. Molybdenum wire can be used as electrode in linear cutting machine to machine workpieces. There are drawing, forging and polished molybdenum wires.

The following are molybdenum wire classifications and molybdenum wire applications:

1. Pure molybdenum wire: pure molybdenum wire can be used as winding wires, supports, outgoing line, heating element, molybdenum foil, wire-electrode cutting, automobile parts spraying.

2. Lanthanum molybdenum wire: lanthanum molybdenum wire is able to be applied as winding wires, glass sealing parts, molybdenum foil, furnace heating materials, high temperature components of wire-electrode cutting, etc..

3. Yttrium molybdenum wire: yttrium molybdenum wire can be used as support, outgoing line, electron tube, grid electrode, furnace heating materials, high temperature components.

4. Wire cutting special molybdenum wire: wire cutting special molybdenum wire has such advantages as high strength, good discharge performance, high surface smoothness, fast cutting speed and long service life. Wire cutting special molybdenum wire is used for cutting and machining various non-ferrous metals, iron and steel and magnetic materials.
