Advantages of molybdenum disulfide(MoS2)
Having properties of good wear resistance, load carrying capacity and lubrication in medium and high temperature environments, MoS2 also plays a role in surface protection, corrosion protection, sealing, lubrication and prolonging the service life of parts.
Effects of molybdenum disulfide coating
MoS2 coating is thermally cured and thoroughly bonded to the base metal of the coated part. Moly coatings lubricate sacrificially by transferring lubricant between the two mating surfaces, which helps to reduce wear and coefficient of friction.
Properties of MoS2 coating
