Molybdenum wire is a kind of molybdenum products, it has the excellent properties, such as high melting point (2620 ℃), high density (10.2g / cm3), high strength rare refractory metals, thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal conductivity, high strength, high temperature, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and other excellent physical and chemical properties. Molybdenum wire applications are widely, which is usually used in the fields of aviation and aerospace, metallurgy, machinery and electronics, automobile manufacturing and so on. There are high requirements on molybdenum wire in this industry, including molybdenum content (greater than 99.5%), specifications (0.127mm, 37.3mg / 200mm) and impurities and so on.
Molybdenum wire has good high temperature, wear resistance and high strength properties, so it is often used in the molybdenum coating industry for spraying automotive wear-resistant devices such as gearbox and push fork fork, engine piston ring, synchronous ring, brake pads, heat moment adders, cylinder body surfaces and others. Molybdenum wire used in the spraying industry has the following requirements, the minimum purity more than 99.5%, strict controlled on C, Na, O2 and other impurity elements. At the same time, molybdenum wire surface should to be smooth, no cracks, burrs, oil and other defects.
The application amount of molybdenum cutting wire in cutting field in 2000 reached 260 million meters, and in the future the application amount will continue to grow. Molybdenum cutting wire used in cutting industry has some requirements, such as molybdenum content not less than 99.3%, having good tensile strength, low elongation, large crimp rate, uniform diameter, and the surface without oxide layer.
