TZM as Raw Material for Hot Runner System Production

Because TZM alloy has good high temperature property, corrosion resistance and mechanical property and processing property, to meet hot runner at high temperature long-term using requirements, and can be made into different shapes used in hot runner system.

Hot runner as a common component in injection mold is to make sure that runner and gate’s plastic remain molten state. After shutdown manufacturers generally do not need to open the runner to pick material out. When turn the machine again only need to heat hot runner to the desired temperature can be. Hot runner is generally divided into open type and valve type.

TZM hot runner system has the following advantages:
1: titanium zirconium molybdenum hot runner can maintain molten plastic for long time, and is conducive to pressure transmission, so hot runner pressure loss is small and plastic has good liquidity. Besides, temperature is more uniform. So the products have small internal stress and deformation, which is good to improving plastic products surface quality and mechanical properties.
