TZM runner plate design should pay attention to the following questions:
1. Mechanical strength. TZM runner plate should have sufficient mechanical strength to withstand pressure from plastic melt in the flow.
2 Hardness. TZM runner plate temperature is consistent with the plastic processing temperature, temperature is much higher than other mold parts, in order to reduce the heat loss of runner plate, should minimize the contact area of the runner plate and mold. Contact area, small local mechanical pressure will be very big, so the runner plate should have sufficient rigidity.
3. The temperature. Uniform temperature distribution in hot runner system is one of the keys to successful application of hot runner technology. Parts in contact with the mould of hot flow path will be a heat loss results in the decrease of local temperature, on the hot runner of TZM runner plate layout element to consider.
