Hot Runner Heating

Hot runner heating includes internal heating and external heating.
For a intenal heating hot runner system, heater set at the center of the flow channel. In an appropriately sized plastic melt flows through the annular gap, and only close to the inner annular gap cross-sectional area can be used as the fluid, as in the outer region of the annular gap, the melt due to the temperature gradient (processing temperature / mold temperature) solidification occurs.
External heating hot runner systems, flow channel is heated by an external heater and keep the processing temperature. Smooth passage of the melt flow without any hindrance. And external heating system, because of the plastic in the flow path is preferably cut state, the degree of stress of injection products is low, so articles can maintain more stringent tolerances. For some heat-sensitive materials such as polycarbonate, an external heating system can eliminate the heat-sensitive material and the degradation caused by problems in the flow path melt flow retention point problem.
Two heating systems have their own strengths, due to the advantages of external heating.hot runner systems has become increasingly obviouse, it has been widely used in the design of hot runner software.
