Rupture of the hot runner nozzle housing has two main factors: 1.A nozzle housing rupture occurred in a certain period after the injection production, analysis from the cracking section belongs fatigue failure, the wall thickness is too thin and the stress concentration is the main reason. 2.A large manifold and nozzle, the nozzle housing rigidity is too large, horizontal hot manifold generated by elongation moment is enough to destroy the nozzle.
Therefore, to solve the hot runner nozzle housing rupture ,there are two main ways: 1.In place of the nozzle housing, in a non-critical section, a circumferential groove excavation can improve flexibility in the axial direction of the nozzle; 2.In the manifold and nozzle coupling position, threaded coupling for thermal compensation, to avoid or reduce the additional moment.
