TZM is a particle-strengthened molybdenum based alloy containing titanium, zirconium and molybdenum
Advantages of TZM compared to pure molybdenum:
1.Above 1100°C tensile strength is about twice that of unalloyed molybdenum.
2.Better creep resistance
3.Higher recrystallization temperature
4.Better welding properties
