The Property Of Large LARGE Dianeter Forged TZM Rod
The miscrostructure,mechanical properties and fracture behavior of large diameter forged TZM rods were investigated under three different processing deformation conditions.Ti was found that the density of the rod increased with the forging deformation,and the microstructure of the TZMrods became finer and denser after forging process,with fine particles unifoemly dispersed in the molybdenum matrix,as well as high tensile strngth,yield strength and clongation percentage at room temperature.It was also found that the tensilc stength,yield stength and the elongation percentage reached to 780Mpa,710Mpa and 25% respectively when the deformation was 80%.When the deformation was more than 70%,the fracture behavior also changed from a brittle fracture type to a ductile fracture type.
