Fluidized Bed Particle Size Reduction Method For Preparing Large Molybdenum Powder

Molybdenum powder fluidized bed reduction directly to the granular or powdered molybdenum trioxide reduced to powder by a two-stage fluidized-bed reduction. 
 
Stage 1: uses ammonia as a reducing gas fluidization, at 400 ~ 650 ℃ the molybdenum trioxide is reduced to two; stage 2: reduction using hydrogen as the fluidizing gas at 700 ~ 1 400 ℃ reducing the MoO2 a metal molybdenum. Since in the fluidized bed, the gas - to obtain a sufficient contact between the solid and the most uniform temperature in the bed, fast response speed and thus, can effectively achieve the molybdenum powder particle size and shape control, the method of production of the molybdenum powder particles were equiaxed, good powder flowability, high density subsequent sintering. This method has not yet seen information specific production applications.
