Chengdu Yuhe chemical plants, since 1970 began production of Ammonium and other molybdates, annual production capacity of 400 tons. Dongtai molybdate chemical (now Jiangsu peak tungsten and molybdenum products Co.), built in 1977, production of Ammonium molybdate-based products, the annual production capacity of about 100 tons. Yangjiazhangzi Bureau of Mines from 1966 begins with molybdenum fine clay as raw material, the production of ammonium molybdate, the annual production capacity of 70 to 80 tons. Luanchuan Molybdenum Company in 1982 in the original Ammonium plant, based on the mining, dressing, smelting joint venture into a molybdenum integrated production units, the annual handling capacity of about 1,000 tons of molybdenum concentrate.
