There are four kinds of porphyry, skarn, vein type, deposition type. Among porphyry, accounting for about 71% of the country's total reserves of molybdenum. 

 

(1) porphyry molybdenum deposit. Porphyry molybdenum deposit: single molybdenum deposit, as Jinduicheng, Montenegro, Dazhuangke; molybdenum and tungsten deposits, such as Jiangxi duchang Yang Chu Ling Ling and fenyi lower phase; copper-molybdenum deposits, such as Jiangxi Dexing Fujiawu and so on. Porphyry skarn and porphyry molybdenum plays an important role in our country, these two categories accounted for 71% of total deposits in the country's total reserves of molybdenum 

(2) skarn deposits. Skarn deposits, mainly produced in the contact zone of granite rock and carbonate rock. Skarn ore containing mainly garnet diopside skarn, molybdenite ore normally produced in the garnet skarn, and to andradite based. The main deposit are: Jilin Hun River, Xuancheng Magu Mountain, its reserves account for 24% of total reserves. 

(3) vein-type molybdenum deposit. Hui vein-type molybdenum deposit is included in the production of various geological fissures molybdenum ore vein-like composition of deposits, many types of gangue minerals, quartz veins are common, as well as pegmatite, quartz veins, etc. This class mineral content is low, accounting for only 2.2% of the proved reserves. Such deposit are: Qingtian Shiping Sichuan, Jiangxi Province 余大龙 Hill, Henan Song County Um yellow water mainly in the southeastern part of. 

(4) deposition of molybdenum ore. Molybdenum ore is divided into sedimentary sandstone and black shale type, deposit-wide Jizi Bay Yunnan and Guizhou Xingyi big occasion mountains, lower mineral content in proven reserves accounted for 0.68% mainly distributed in southwest China.
