Preparation of Molybdenum copper alloy is substantially similar to tungsten copper materials, mainly through two ways: copper infiltration method and a mixture of sintering method.
1, preparation of Molybdenum copper material - copper infiltration method
It is formed by direct compression of the molybdenum powder, sintered at a high temperature under argon into a porous preform of molybdenum, molybdenum and the sintered porous preform into the molten copper in a vacuum or under an inert gas. In order to obtain the desired copper material of copper content of molybdenum is necessary to control the porosity of the sintered molybdenum blanks, these pores reach into the copper content of the copper required. 2, preparation of Molybdenum copper material- a mixture of sintering
